Description

The Gibraltar Health Authority invites applications for the post of Nursing Assistant, within the Gibraltar Health Authority and Elderly Residential Services, from persons who by virtue of their citizenship, are entitled to take up employment and who are, or on employment will be, resident in Gibraltar.

Applicants must be 17 years of age. Candidates with a minimum of 2 GCSE (or GCE ‘O’ level) passes at A, B or C grade, or CSE grade 1, one of which must be in English Language, or equivalent or higher qualifications at an advantage. Alternatively, candidates with a healthcare qualification, such as BTEC, or NVQ, or who hold the relevant experience as Nursing Assistant within the GHA will also be eligible to apply.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate that they are flexible, dedicated and committed to working as part of the multi-disciplinary team, in the delivery of patient centred healthcare. Successful applicants will be required to work in diverse clinical areas within the Gibraltar Health Authority and Elderly Residential Services.

The GHA appointments will be subject to a 10 month probationary period and salary ranges from £18,360 to £22,070 per annum.
