The Anaesthetic and Intensive Care Department at the Gibraltar Health Authority are looking to recruit Registrars and Fellows to join our team on 6-12 month contracts.
Applicants should have had at least 2 years of training in Anaesthesia and some experience of intensive care medicine as they will be first on call with a Consultant 2nd on call from home.
The job and rota are EWTD compliant comprising less than 48 hours on average per week including non-clinical sessions to help with continuing professional development.
Applicants for this post from outside of the UK who have appropriate qualifications and proof of English language proficiency may be eligible to up to two years exemption from GMC registration.
The total remuneration is £73,257.00 per annum with income tax currently at 20-25% in Gibraltar. In addition, a rented accommodation allowance of £500 is payable, solely whilst on a fixed term contract and upon submission of an official rental agreement and UK economy class flights are paid in full. The successful applicant will also be eligible for up to 10 days per annum study leave with a single overseas course fully funded by the GHA per year.
